OPEC+ committee meeting expected to keep output policy unchanged

A committee of OPEC+ ministers on Thursday is not expected to make any recommendations to change the group’s production policy, three OPEC+ sources told Reuters. Leading ministers from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies, led by Russia, known as OPEC+, will meet online at 11:00 GMT on Thursday. The panel, named the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC), can call for a full OPEC+ meeting or make recommendations on policy.
